This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. the price was amazing for the value we received. We couldn't believe how affordable it was to stay in such a beautiful lodge in the desert. The attention to detail was impressive, from the pretty gardens to the rooms with stunning views over the desert. The verandas provided the perfect spot to relax and take in the breathtaking scenery. Another highlight was the delicious breakfast, which was well presented and tasty. It set us up perfectly for a day of sightseeing and exploring this unique area. we were blown away by the value for money, the location amidst fossilized red dunes, and the fantastic service provided by the staff.

    Everything was more than ok.

During my Christmas stay, I loved the peacefulness and tranquility of the lodge. It was the perfect escape from the noise and chaos of the city. The views of the surrounding desert were breathtaking, especially at sunset. I also enjoyed the fact that the lodge had informative display boards that taught me about the different types of deserts and wildlife in the area. It added a educational aspect to my stay.

One aspect that I didn't like was the lack of variety in the food. The buffet dinner offered during my stay was average and didn't have many options to choose from.

What a peaceful and pleasant stay at the campsite! The ablutions were clean and inviting, and the hot showers were a refreshing relief after a long drive through the Namib. Listening to the barking geckos and other sounds of the Namibian night created a truly immersive experience. The attentive staff served a healthy and satisfying breakfast at the lodge, setting the perfect tone for the day ahead.

While the accommodation was basic, the workshop behind the rooms did cause some disappointment. The meals, although tasty, came at a hefty price, especially since there were no facilities to make our own dinner.

This hotel truly exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the location between fossilized red dunes in the desert was simply breathtaking. The hotel's grounds were beautifully maintained, with pretty gardens that added to the serene atmosphere. Secondly, the staff were exceptional, providing a warm and welcoming service throughout my stay. Their attention to detail and willingness to assist with any request was truly commendable. Lastly, the rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, with a good shower and spacious verandas that offered stunning views over the desert. The breakfast selection was also impressive, providing a delicious start to each day.

All aspects of my stay at this hotel were delightful.

The Namib Desert Lodge is located on the edge of the Namib, offering stunning views of the surrounding petrified dunes. You can take advantage of the self-guided walks around the lodge, allowing you to explore the beautiful landscape at your own pace. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, with all the necessary amenities. The staff is friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. the breakfast buffet provides a variety of options to satisfy every palate. The lodge also offers two pools, perfect for cooling off after a day of hiking.

The Wi-Fi connectivity is limited to the common areas, which can be inconvenient if you're looking to stay connected in your room.

This hotel offers excellent value for money, with fair prices for both meals and overnight stays. The attention to detail is evident throughout the property, from the well-maintained gardens nestled amidst the fossilized red dunes, to the staff who provide exceptional service. The rooms with terraces allow guests to enjoy stunning views over the desert from their verandas, and the good shower facilities ensure a comfortable stay. Additionally, the breakfast spread is both delicious and well-presented.

No improvements needed, everything was satisfactory.
